They don’t look ebony porn like the Beatles, but if you close your eyes, you’ll swear that it’s the real thing! Beatlejuice, the Boston area’s premiere Beatles tribute band will perform a very special benefit concert for Sexual Assault Support Services (SASS) on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at The Music Hall in Portsmouth.
SASS is proud that Bill Faulkner is, once again, producing this event on its behalf. The Fifth Annual Night to Benefit the Children is an evening not to be missed.
Led by multi platinum award winning Brad Delp of the band Boston, Beatle Juice will get your toes tapping and your head bobbing with your favorite songs from the Fab Four’s vast catalog. The band consists of an all star lineup of area music veterans – joining Delp are Muzz, of Farrenheit and the Fools; Joe Holaday of the Fools, Steve Baker, who recently played with Beatles producer George Martin in a tribute to The Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl and, the newest member of the band, Air Force Concert Band member Dave Mitchell. This marks the fifth consecutive year that the members of Beatle Juice have been gracious enough to perform a benefit concert for SASS.
Tickets for the concert are $30.00 and all proceeds will benefit the Children’s Education and Prevention Program at SASS. The show has sold out for the past four years so call the Music Hall now at 603-436-2400 (or go online at http://www.themusichall.org/) and get your tickets to see Beatle Juice. Sponsorship opportunities and VIP packages are available by calling Faulkner at 603-929-5904.
