Page 3 of 3 Question: How did your keyboard player make his B3 bend a note in your cut of Carry On? ScholzLive: I have exclusive knowledge of that because my keyboard player is me! There are 3 different ways to do that job live. I'd suggest coming to see us play live when we come to a city near you. Get a front row seat! I was asked that same question by every other member of Boston and none of them know the answer, either!
Question: What inspired the Rockman (and therefore, Boston's) sound?
ScholzLive: Actually it was vice-a-versa. It was my desire to create the Boston sound without a huge rack of amplifiers and studio gear that I used on the early albums and tours that lead me to develop the compact Rockman circuit.
Question: What was Boston's number 1 hit?
ScholzLive: Amanda was the biggest selling single and Don't Look Back the album was also a number 1 album.
OnlineHost: All good things must end. We've run out of time for this event.
CSEmcee2: Mr. Scholz, it was a pleasure having you for this wonderful conference tonight!
ScholzLive: Well, thank you! It was my pleasure! I'm sorry my bad computer karma got me lost for a while!
CSEmcee2: And we would like to thank the members of our audience for coming! Goodnight, Everyone!
OnlineHost: Our thanks to Tom Scholz for taking the time from his busy career and work as a humanitarian to visit online. Be sure to download your permanent copy of tonight's transcript using keyword: "CENTER STAGE." It will be available within 24 hours. Thank you for joining us and good night!
