BOSTON's self-titled debut, released September, 1976, reigned for nearly two decades as the best-selling debut of all time. Boston reached #2 on the Billboard album chart and remained on the chart for 132 weeks, spinning off the hit single "More Than A Feeling". To date Boston has sold over 16 million copies and was among the first albums to be certified Diamond (sales exceeding 10 million units) by RIAA.

Their other albums, Don't Look Back, Third Stage, and Walk On were released between 1978 and 1994. Third Stage, released in 1986 on vinyl, was later the first CD ever to go gold; the hit song "Amanda" was a #1 single for 4 weeks. Total BOSTON album sales exceed 30 million worldwide.
