"November 24, 2008 To celebrate the launch, Children's patients were able to meet stars of the hit NBC comedy series The Office, Mindy Kaling and BJ Novak, and BOSTON Band members Tom Scholz, Gary Pihl and Michael Sweet. The celebrity guests helped patients create artwork that will be featured on Kidz B Kidz clothing and products."

Last month, Gary, Michael and Tom attended the kick off party for Kidz B Kidz at Children’s Hospital Boston to celebrate the launch of the Kidz B Kidz line, which is a non-profit organization that engages children in giving back through art to children with serious illnesses. Their art is transformed into textile designs used in a series of high-end product lines available in stores and online at 
In addition to being a Kidz b Kidz board member, Gary designed their website. He even performed a song at the event that he wrote! That's Terri Lawrence singing, Larry Clawson on keys and Gary on acoustic guitar.
