Are you sure it was march 9 I was up there on business and I remember it being the 8th. I intentionally flew into manchester instead of Bostons Logan to work up in Lowell with the hopes of catching a beatlejuice gig from my long time hero Mr Delp whom I met in the RTZ days with Barry. Such a talented man I'll miss him as everyone will. I'll catch Boston with Styx this year at the pier 6 in baltimore but yeah it wont be the same but the show must go on. God bless Brad and the Delp family...Cheers!!! Mike - Mike Cecil

I remember back in 1976 when I heard Boston for the first time. Brad Delp's voice was that straight ahead blow your ass out of the room sweet.THe music was pure.Tom and Barry on guitar, it does'nt get any better than that No B.S. I regret never getting to see them live with the original crew. I am now 51 years old and I still have Boston cd's in the player in the car and truck. (I must have worn out about 6 cd's) The music world suffered a great loss when Brad passed away.I look forward to getting to see the new band!!! My favorite songs have to be A man I will never be, Can"t you say you believe in me, Amanda( my daughters name, hum?) Rock and roll band, I could go on and on.Hell I dont believe there was ever a Boston song that I did'nt like. The music takes back to a less complex time in my life. Long live rock and roll and Boston.
Brad you will not be forgotten, my condolences to his family and to all who knew him. - Don Anderson

Also caught Boston at the Winnipeg show. I agree with everything in the previous comment. Tommy (or the Home Depot guy as our group called him) did an unbelievable job of covering for Brad Delp. I also thought Michael Sweet did a great job with the tunes he sang. Tom and the rest of the band were everything we were expecting. I am so glad to have had the chance to see this band tour again especially when it looked so unlikely just a few months ago. Nothing but best wishes for an excellent tour this summer. Checking the schedule to see if we can catch at least one more performance this summer.

Keep rockin, cool the engines when you have to but otherwise keep 'em Smokin!

well... I was at the concert in Winnipeg and I LOVED him! You can tell he is not a "rock star" yet, but I must admit, his voice is incredible.. .what are the chances?!! I wanted to hear him sing every single song. It's almost like he needs "permission" to act like a lead singer because he seems too respectful to the band to take over and really "perform" like a lead singer.

I sure hope that they keep him because to me... Boston is the voice and the sound but there is no denying the incredible likeness in sound. I loved how excited he was to be there, you can tell that he absolutely loves Boston and really wants to do it justice.

(FYI if any of the group reads this... we could barely hear your vocals.. need to adjust that, it was frustrating at times) - B
