Pamela,
I just have to say that I am sorry for your loss. I was first turned on to Boston in the early 80's and they are still my favorite band.

But I must say the thing that got my attention the most was the wikipedia site report on Brad Delp in the section labeled "Later life and death" I read this quote "Mr. Brad Delp. Je suis une âme solitaire. I am a lonely soul." This has ripped out my heart. In 1998 I found myself empty and with no hope but then something happened, someone told me about Jesus Christ. He filled the emptyness of my soul. I do not want to be a bible thumper, but when I read this I can not help myself from sharing the hope I found in knowing Christ. Do not get me wrong, I still face hardships and troubles but the difference is that now I am not alone. I am a friend of God.

I would love to talk more about this with you or with anyone that is interested.

Hey Pam, First of all I want to say that we are all feeling the pain of the loss of Brad but mos impotantly the pain some people have put upon others to blame Brad's death on someone other than Brad. We love the legacy of Brad and what he and Tom gave to the world of Rock n Roll. I wish I could have been blessed to have known him personally. All I have is his music and the memories that I have in my own life thanks to the music Tom and Brad made come alive in our heats and lives. They both, along with the band made life alittle more bearable. I hope some people will get over themselves and and let Brad rest in peace and let all of us celebrate his legacy and The legacy that include his humanitarian efforts and the gift of love he gave to whoever he came in contact with whether it was in person or through his music. We all love you and hope that we can all get through this together. We love you Pam - Les Johnson

Thanks Pam for your ability to get out here and speak to us during your time of greiving. I grew up listening to 'Boston' during the late 70's/early 80's and was very much touched by the work that Brad did. To this day, my favorite band is still 'Boston' and I don't think that a band of such magnitude will ever grace my life again. Rest well Brad, and thanks Pam. - Mike
